Slight colour variations in skincare products

You may sometimes notice that when you open up a new jar of your regular moisturiser that the colour differs slightly to your previous jar. This can happen due to a couple of reasons: quite often the raw materials, particularly when they are derived from a natural source, can vary in colour from yield to yield and this can in turn, when added to the moistuiser, alter the colour slightly. This can be particularly noticeable in products that contain essential oils.

Also once you’ve opened your jar and continually open it with every use, the colour can change and become darker as its been exposed to air.

The colour change in no way affects the quality of the product and you can continue to use the product as per usual.
